Return Policy
We want you to be happy with your product!
Within 30 days of your order, we offer a 100% refund if a product was faulty or damaged in shipping and replacement is out of the question. While extremely rare, if we make a mistake we will also refund or replace the item.
Since our orders are custom engraved specifically as you request, we do not accept preferential returns. Once the item is personalized for you, it cannot be reused or restocked. For our part, we will engrave the text exactly as entered, including capitalization and punctuation.
In some cases, we are able to provide replacement caps for your item at a nominal charge. Contact us if you would like to pursue this option.

Fisher Space Pen Lifetime GuaranteeÂ
At Fisher Space Pen we stand behind the quality and durability of our products.
Fisher Space Pen Co. pens and refill cartridges are guaranteed against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, except for certain exclusions, noted below.
If your product covered by this guarantee fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it without charge, or replace it, at our discretion.
Exclusions:
- Only unaltered / unmodified items and original workmanship are covered.
- This warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, accident, improper care and/or use, negligence, normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.
- This warranty does not cover postage to return your item for service.
- Ink refills exhausted through normal use.
- O-Rings exhausted through normal use.
- Lead and erasers exhausted through normal use.
- “Wear and tear” items, such as stylus tips.
- Fisher Space Pen Co. branded items such as apparel, accessories, patches, or stickers.
Please note:
• Due to our manufacturing processes, we are unable to send replacement parts, such as springs. Pens in need of parts will need to be sent in for repair.
• Because our springs are calibrated to work properly with the internal mechanism of your pen, springs will not be swapped for stronger feeling springs.

- Securely package the item in a small box. (Please be advised that postal equipment tears ordinary envelopes containing rigid items. Unprotected items may be lost/damaged. We will not be responsible for an item that is lost or damaged due to inadequate packaging. It is recommended that you insure your shipment in case of loss or damage in transit.)

Upon receipt, your Fisher Space Pen product will be thoroughly inspected by our Quality Control team to determine the cause of the malfunction.
- If you have provided your email address, you will receive an email to notify you that we have received your item. (Please check your spam/junk folder if you have not received your email.)
- Allow a minimum of three weeks (from date of receipt at our factory) for repair services to be completed. During the holiday season, from November 1 - January 31, this time will be extended to six weeks from date of receipt.
- Upon completion, your repair or replacement will ship via standard shipping to you.
- If you have provided your email address, you will receive an email with your tracking number once your item is shipped back to you. (Please check your spam/junk folder if you have not received your email.)

Our Process
Once you place your order, your exact information goes into our engraving system to ensure there is no change from what you entered.
Engraving Your Order
Once we are ready to process your order, we select the pen you requested from our shelves. Next, we align your pen on the tray of our machine, and begin the marking process. In less than a minute, your pen is engraved perfectly. Engraving is not like any other decoration, it is a permanent personalization that will never wear off or fade.
Finishing Your Order
After we complete the engraving process, we hand polish the pen and place it in a quality gift box. From there your order goes to our packing station where it is inspected, packed, and prepared for shipment by the method of your choosing. At the end of the day, your order is picked up by the carrier service and on its way home to you.
